Seventy-eight percent of consumers will be on social media while watching the game. But, 82 percent of hosts plan to serve primarily hors d’oeuvres, chips and dips.
Forty-nine percent of people will offer hearty fare as burgers, hot dogs and pulled pork.
Interestingly, 38 percent of people say the No. 1 online activity is “sharing my thoughts about the commercials.”
Furthermore, 45 percent of consumers plan their parties weeks in advance, and 36 percent of people get back into the swing of things once one of the teams win.
