What Folks are Doing Besides Watching The Big Game

The big game is finally amongst us.

Yes, the Super Bowl will finally transpire tomorrow, and many folks will be gearing up for some cool Super Bowl parties, but they will also be doing many other things.

Influence Central reveals insight into consumer behavior during the party.

Seventy-eight percent of consumers will be on social media while watching the game. But, 82 percent of hosts plan to serve primarily hors d’oeuvres, chips and dips.

Forty-nine percent of people will offer hearty fare as burgers, hot dogs and pulled pork.

Interestingly, 38 percent of people say the No. 1 online activity is “sharing my thoughts about the commercials.”

Furthermore, 45 percent of consumers plan their parties weeks in advance, and 36 percent of people get back into the swing of things once one of the teams win.
