The Comeback Power Brunch celebrates Black Music Month
This past weekend music lovers gathered to enjoy The Comeback Power Brunch ATL. This event is a critically-acclaimed musical showcase and awards ceremony that is dedicated to preserving the legacies of Atlanta’s soul music artists. In addition to its key contributors, it was certainly an evening to remember.
The Comeback Power Brunch included an amazing panel discussion centered around topics in today’s music and entertainment scene. Panelist Included Kelsey Maynor (Political Figure & Author), T’Marie (Radio Host, Relationship Advocate), Que Jackson (Brand Strategist/ Media Influencer), AZ Yeamen (Screenwriter), Anthony Dalton (Actor, The Paynes) and Mia Mendez (Actress) who also served as the host of the event. The tribute to black music will bring together both classic and current generations of singers including Keeyen Martin, HisStory (Best Cover Ever), Tyler Little (Sundays Best Season 6), and Briluv who all had performances that kept the crowds out of their seats. The event concluded with tributes to honorees gospel great Rickey Dillard and the Legendary Tony Terry who accepted his award by doing a rendition of his 90’s hit “With You”. Spearheaded by Isaac Hamm, The Come Back Power Brunch is quickly becoming the nations go-to event to celebrate black music month.
