In 2018, Se7en remains to be a gritty, dirty, twisted thriller and that’s why it on the list. The story follows two detectives as they play a cat and mouse game to catch a serial killer who admires the seven deadly sins.

Goodfellas


Martin Scorsese will always be one of the greatest storytellers ever. A mob movie for the ages which tells the real-life story of mob member Henry Hill.

Raw


Squimish beware, this is a hard one to stomach. Raw explores a how far a vegetarian teen will go for acceptance.

Heat


The title implies just that. This thriller starring Robert Dinero and Al Pacino reveals that one side of the law isn’t that much different from the other.

Full Metal Jacket
