Last night, Grammy award-winning singer from the R&B Quartet 112 Q Parker partnered with Pandora and Sirus XM for the official release of his new single Made For featuring Deitrick Haddon, Avery Wilson, and Eric Dawkins. This intimate event, moderated by Satchel Jester was an intimate experience that allowed long time supporters of Q to get a glimpse into his life, his truth and what inspired his new project(s). It also featured a panel with fellow musicians and brothers in his upcoming project Bobby Valentino, Willie Moore Jr, Wingo (Jagged Edge), JK Howell and Jor’dan Armstrong who also shared their experiences.
Experiencing both career and personal highs and lows over the past few years forced Q to lean on his family and his faith more. He started The Q Parker Legacy Foundation, Brothers United, and Women United to help strengthen the relationships within our community.
He also partnered with over 50 men of color to release his new album entitled The Bridge Project. The Bridge Project is a musical and visual body of work that has a goal of unity, cultural advancement and bridging the gap in genres of mainstream and gospel. The project features people such as Omari Hardwick, Willie Moore Jr, Pastor Jamal Bryant and many more.
The Bridge Project track taps on the voices of Deitrick Haddon, Avery Wilson, & Eric Dawkins to deliver melodic tunes that support the album’s overall theme of unity.
