Larenz Tate, Vin Diesel, Cardi B, John Wall, La La and More Join Ludacris for the Annual LudaDay Wee

In celebration of his birthday, actor/rapper/philanthropist Chris “Ludacris” Bridges hosted his 12th annual LudaDay Weekend in Atlanta this past Labor Day Weekend. This star-studded series of charitable events that Ludacris brings to the city of Atlanta each year, has become a staple amongst many supporters across the nation, bringing in numerous top celebrities, athletes, tastemakers as well as hundreds of tourists. Kicking off this stellar weekend, Ludacris hosted his annual Grass is Greener Golf Tournament where several of Atlanta’s “who’s who” gathered to spend their morning on the golf course to win money towards their non-profit of choice. Later that evening, Luda held his popular Celebrity Bowling Tournament at Bowlmor Lanes. Over 400 guests came out for a night of fun with some of their favorite celebrities and athletes. Renowned DJ and radio personality, DJ Holiday’s “Commission” team, ended the night with a victory and taking home the trophy.

On Saturday, Ludacris took over the Turner Field open lot, for the AmbitiousX Presents: LudaFamDay Powered by Spotify.

Guests enjoyed a day of family fun; block party style. Ludacris, Lecrae, Mack Wilds, Trinidad James and Keke Palmer performed for the fans as they enjoyed food, drinks, games and more. On Sunday morning, Ludacris and Eudoxie Bridges alongside the Ludacris Foundation, gathered at the Intercontinental Hotel with special invited celebrity guests, for their annual Youth Empowerment Brunch. This brunch brings together an intimate group of teens to discuss topics such as peer pressure, life goals and making the right life choices with the Bridges and their guests as Mentors.

Morehouse Forbes Arena was at full capacity for Ludacris’ yearly anticipated Celebrity Basketball Game featuring team captains – MikeWillMadeIt and Dave East for the Ear Drummers team and Cardi B and La La for team Luda.

Legendary R&B group, 112, serenaded the audience singing a unique rendition of the National Anthem, followed by a head to head face off featuring popular NBA and WNBA stars such as John Wall, Lou Williams, Angel McCoughtry, Lance Stephenson, Serge Ibaka, and more. After a close game, it was team Luda who left with the victory. Following the basketball game, VIP/celebrity guests headed to Topgolf Midtown for a swing on the tees at Ludacris’ private Topgolf Takeover event. Guests enjoyed an evening of mixing, mingling, drinking and eating delicious food and showed off their best-golfing swing. The fun-filled weekend also featured a host of day and nightlife parties at some of Atlanta’s premiere hot spots.

LudaDay Weekend is hosted by Ludacris in conjunction with his non-profit organization the Ludacris Foundation. This weekend hosts a series of fundraising events in efforts to give back to the community and our youth.
