LaLiga & beIN Sports Hosts Rooftop Viewing Party of El Clásico

Sunday, April 23, saw the coming of El Clásico.  Real Madrid faced off in a highly touted matchup with Barcelona. LaLiga, the organizing body of top-flight Spanish soccer, along with beIN Sports, its exclusive USA broadcaster, co-hosted for the first time in the United States, a viewing party of El Clásico match between two of the world’s biggest clubs –F.C Barcelona and Real Madrid. Among those in attendance was special guest Raúl González Blanco, who spent 16 years with Real Madrid.

With a rooftop DJ and multiple TV’s/projectors set up on two floors, the event made for the perfect watch party. In some fashion anyway, the LaLiga event was filled with three separate bars and never ending the supply of good views and vibes. In a predominantly pro-Madrid crowd, the Barcelona faithful made sure to make themselves heard. In one of the most exciting games in recent memory, with three goals past the 70-minutemark. Efforts of a player like James Rodríguez will likely be looked over in a tough loss for Madrid. In contrast Lionel Messi’s late game heroics will be playing on hightlights for years to come. In addition to his 500th goal, he stole the show and the win.
