Creed 2 Starring Michael B. Jordan will be Directed and Produced by Sylvester Stallone

Last night, actor and filmmaker, Sylvester Stallone announced the making of Creed 2, the sequel to the 2015 Creed starring Michael B. Jordan.

Under a picture of himself and Jordan, he captioned “looking forward to directing and Producing the incredibly talented Michael B. Jordan in Creed 2 next year… One more Round !”.

It comes as a surprise that Stallone will be directing the film, because the original Creed was directed by Ryan Coogler who has worked on other films with Jordan like Fruitvale Station and Black Panther.

Creed grossed $173 Million at the box office and also garnered Stallone an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe win for Best Supporting Actor.
