Chris Williams, Georgia’s Youngest Black Subway Franchisee Celebrates Grand Opening

This past weekend, 26-Year-old Chicago native Chris Williams II celebrated the grand opening of his new Subway Restaurant in the Marietta suburbs of Atlanta. Joined by family and the community, Chris celebrated this momentous occasion in his life with a ribbon-cutting ceremony signifying the start of great beginnings.

Over the past few months, Chris has become a social media sensation with all the reposts by friends, family and celebrity supporters alike. It may have something to do with the fact that Chris is the youngest African American Subway franchisee in Georgia. Friends, family and business associates praised Chris on his willingness to always accomplish what he puts his mind to.

He has overcome homelessness and more to get to the place where he is today, proving that with the right influence and motivation, anything is possible. During the event, special guest and mentor Pastor Jamal Bryant (New Life Church) stopped by to support the new owner by purchasing food for the entire guest list. It was worth a drive outside the city to support such a motivated man. The story isn’t over. Be sure to look out for an in-depth interview with Chris coming soon.
