Spice House Still Serving up the Flavor With New 2nd Location

Last week, I had the opportunity to visit the new Spice House location in Lithonia, Ga. It was certainly a nice mid-day drive into the old area that I once lived. When I arrived at the location, I was impressed by the first of the amount of space that the location had. Then I was in awe of the decor. Whoever decorated must have had me in mind. It was so beautiful with the blue and gray chairs and other accents. As we waited for the food to be prepared, I had the opportunity to reconnect with some old media acquaintances and connect with some new ones. The Spice House team made us their famous Rum Punch and Cocktail. Both sweet with a kick, just like I like it.

Once the food arrived, we were pleased to enjoy Rice and Peas, Jerked Chicken, Greens, Ox Tails that melted in my mouth with every bite and black mushroom rice which is a dish that I have never tasted until today but is something that will definitely be trying again. You know I love food that makes you feel good and after this meal, I felt GREAT. As I always say, “Don’t take my word for it, go see for yourself and tell them I sent you.”

Spice House is a bistro-style restaurant that’s serving a taste of the islands. We have ethnic dishes from Haiti, Bahamas, and Jamaica. with a full-service bar. The new location opens this Saturday, January 11, 2020.
