The Black Effect Podcast Festival Returns to Atlanta for Its Fourth Annual Celebration
Podcasting enthusiasts and creators, get your mics ready. iHeartMedia and Charlamagne Tha God are officially bringing the Black Effect Podcast Festival back to Atlanta for its fourth annual celebration.
Set to take place on April 25 from noon to 8 p.m. at the historic Pullman Yards, the highly anticipated festival promises a full day dedicated to celebrating, uplifting, and amplifying Black voices within the audio industry.
Hosted by festival founder Charlamagne Tha God, his Breakfast Club co-host DJ Envy, and Loren LoRosa (host of The Latest with Loren LoRosa Podcast), the event will be packed with live podcast tapings from some of the network’s biggest hit shows. This year’s stellar live lineup includes heavy-hitters like Drink Champs, Keep it Positive, Sweetie, Reality with The King, and Don’t Call Me White Girl.
Beyond the highly anticipated live tapings, this year is leveling up the educational experience. Aspiring podcasters and media professionals can look forward to a series of thought-provoking panel discussions featuring special guests like reality TV titan Carlos King (Reality With The King) and finance expert Ian Dunlap. The panels will tackle timely, industry-shifting topics, including AI: The Evolution and The Future, The Gen-Z Movement, and in-depth discussions on audio and media development.
“Each year we return to Atlanta with purpose and intention to amplify storytelling, champion community, and celebrate excellence in podcasting with thousands of our cousins from around the world,” Charlamagne Tha God shared in a statement.
Dollie S. Bishop, President of The Black Effect Podcast Network, echoed that sentiment, sharing the festival’s commitment to creating spaces for creators to inspire and shape culture. “From conversations on AI and investing to the future of audio, we’re bringing the culture together for connection, innovation and a few surprises,” she added.
Beyond the main stage, the festival will offer plenty of interactive experiences. For those looking to launch their own audio journey, the wildly popular “Pitch Your Podcast” booth is making a return. Attendees can also shop and eat their way through The Black Effect Marketplace, which will highlight merchandise from Black-owned businesses and feature an array of local food trucks.
Since launching in September 2020, The Black Effect Podcast Network has debuted over 60 shows, becoming the leading platform for Black creators to drive stimulating conversations around pop culture, social justice, sports, and mental health.
With the festival just around the corner, now is the perfect time to secure your spot. Tickets are currently on sale, so head over to blackeffect.com/podcastfestival to grab yours and stay up to date on the final lineup announcements!
