Onyx Collective recently announced that Hulu’s hit legal drama Reasonable Doubt is beefing up its roster for a highly anticipated fourth season. R&B superstar Durrell “Tank” Babbs and Hollywood veteran Meagan Good are officially joining the 20th Television series as regulars.

They will be acting alongside returning series regulars Emayatzy Corinealdi, McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, and Angela Grovey.

Season 4 introduces some heavy hitters who are bound to shake up Jax Stewart’s world. Leading the charge is Tank, who steps into the role of Eric Cropper, a super-wealthy R&B artist and one of Jax’s longtime, loyal clients. Cropper is described as charming and calculating, a man who is completely accustomed to getting his way at all costs.

Good takes on the role of the new district attorney, bringing to life a character who is smart, compassionate, and absolutely nobody’s fool. Additionally, it was recently reported that Taylor Polidore Williams has been cast in the upcoming season.

If you thought the previous seasons were intense, Season 4 is upping the ante. The upcoming episodes will explore the fallout of a brutal attack that leaves Jax’s family and her newly minted law firm shaken. With nothing feeling certain, especially their future, The Stewart Firm is thrust into a fight for survival.

To complicate matters, Jax’s most loyal client finds himself at the center of a spiraling media disaster. As the pressure mounts and grief lingers, the team faces a daunting question: Can they rebuild in time, or will moving forward too quickly cost them everything they stand to lose?

At the recent NAACP Creative Honors, creator and showrunner Raamla Mohamed spoke about the fan reaction to the show’s jaw-dropping killer reveal of Season 3.

“I mean, people were very shocked,” Mohamed shared, noting that she loves it when a conclusion is both surprising and logical. “You know, like when you saw her, you were like, ‘Oh, well that tracks.’ I’m excited for this season because we get to unpack that and see what happened and I think it’s going to be great.”

Mohamed also emphasized her dedication to maintaining the show’s high quality. “I feel like my job as a creator or showrunner is to make sure that if this is your favorite show, it stays your favorite show,” she explained. “I really try to strive for that excellence as much as I can.”

We look forward to the new season of Reasonable Doubt.
