The family of Grammy‑winning rapper Lil Jon is facing a crisis as authorities and loved ones search for his son, Nathan Smith, after he was reported missing in Milton, Georgia.
According to a missing person report from the Milton Police Department, the 27‑year‑old artist was last seen early on February 3, around 6 a.m., leaving his home on foot without his phone or personal belongings. Police have expressed concern that he may be disoriented and in need of assistance, noting that family and friends are worried for his safety.
Authorities described Smith as approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He left his residence in the Baldwin Drive and Mayfield Road area of Milton and has not been seen since.

In the wake of the alert, a representative for Lil Jon confirmed changes to the entertainer’s schedule. Lil Jon, whose real name is Jonathan Smith, canceled an appearance on the TmrO Sessions livestream following news of his son’s disappearance.
A spokesperson for the family issued a statement asking for privacy during this difficult time and for “continued prayers for Nathan to come home safe.”
Nathan Smith has followed in his father’s musical footsteps. Performing professionally as DJ Young Slade, he has built a profile as a DJ and artist and released music, including the single “Feels” in March 2025. He has also appeared on projects like MTV’s Family Legacy.
