Fyütch delivered one of the most powerful moments of the 2026 Grammy Awards, and it came from the children’s category.
The Maryland musician, educator, and artist Harold Williams II, known professionally as Fyütch, made history alongside his daughter Aura V after the duo won Best Children’s Music Album for Harmony. At just around eight years old, Aura V is now the youngest Grammy winner ever, setting a new record and shining a spotlight on a genre that is often overlooked but deeply impactful.
But the win wasn’t just celebratory. It was purposeful.
Grammy winner Fyutch: "We are failing our children. Any time we vote against feeding, protecting, clothing, educating our kids, we are condemning our collective future. Shoutout to Ms. Rachel, she's doing god's work." pic.twitter.com/bdBXqWjB0T

Taking the stage, Fyütch used his acceptance speech to remind the audience that children’s music is not simply entertainment, it’s responsibility. “Children’s music is more than a genre,” he said. “It is an intention of artists who have dedicated our crafts to educating, entertaining, and empowering the next generation.”
Then came the line that instantly cut through the room. “We are failing our children,” Fyütch declared. He wasn’t speaking in vague metaphors either. He pointed directly to the real-world choices being made every day that impact young lives.
“Anytime we vote against feeding, protecting, clothing, educating our kids, we are condemning our collective future,” he continued. “That’s why I made this album,” he explained. “This mission. This is activism.”
But the most touching moment came when he passed the spotlight to Aura V, celebrating her historic achievement. “Give it up for the youngest individual Grammy winner in history, my daughter, Aura V,” he said proudly.
