Method Man and Kelly Rowland were in Atlanta tonight as they hit the red carpet for the premiere of Relationship Goals, Prime Video’s upcoming romantic comedy. The screening included a mix of cast members, cultural tastemakers, and the film’s creative forces.
Rowland and Clifford “Method Man” Smith, who lead the project, were both in attendance, alongside producers Michael Todd and DeVon Franklin and his wife, Maria Castillo. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey also stepped out for the premiere.
Relationship Goals isn’t selling a fantasy of perfect love. Inspired by Todd’s bestselling book of the same name, the film uses romance and comedy to explore what growth really looks like when real feelings, real history, and real stakes are involved.

Rowland stars as Leah Caldwell, a brilliant TV producer on the verge of making history as the first woman to lead New York’s number-one morning show. It’s the career moment she’s worked toward for years, until her network throws an unexpected curveball.
Enter Jarrett Roy, played by Method Man: her ex.
Not only is he back in her orbit, but he’s also her competition for the same role. Jarrett claims he’s changed, shaped by personal transformation and guided by the very relationship principles the film is built around. Leah, understandably, isn’t convinced.
What unfolds is a mix of unresolved tension, workplace rivalry, and emotional reckoning. Jarrett wants redemption while Leah is focused on breaking ceilings, not reopening old wounds. But as they clash creatively and challenge each other’s ideas of love and maturity, it becomes clear that chemistry doesn’t disappear just because the relationship ended.
The film also expands beyond Leah and Jarrett’s story. Leah’s close-knit circle of friends begin reading the same life-altering book, forcing each of them to confront their own journeys around dating, purpose, healing, and emotional growth. The result is a romantic comedy that blends humor with real conversations about accountability and what it truly means to aim for love.
Produced by Franklin and directed by Linda Mendoza, Relationship Goals features a supporting cast that includes Robin Thede, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Annie Gonzalez, and Matt Walsh.
Relationship Goals premieres on Prime Video on February 4. Check out more images from the screening.
