Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is expanding his influence in television with a new true-crime series, set to explore some of the most notorious gang rivalries in American history. The project, tentatively titled Gang Wars, is being developed for A&E through Jackson’s production company, G-Unit Film & Television, in partnership with Citizen Jones.

The series promises a raw, unfiltered look at the street battles, betrayals, and power plays that have shaped the nation’s criminal landscape.

While 50 Cent is perhaps best known to many as a Grammy-nominated rapper and creator of the Power franchise, his work behind the camera has steadily expanded, especially in the realm of real-world crime storytelling. Previous projects under his banner include factual series and documentaries that delve into complex criminal narratives.

According to reports, the series will provide unprecedented access to never-before-heard accounts and perspectives on gang feuds that reverberate through cities and communities across the country.

Though specific rivalries to be featured have not yet been revealed, the scope of the series suggests a deep dive into conflicts that have long existed in both public record and underground lore.

Jackson’s interest in true crime and unscripted narrative formats comes on the heels of his recent executive producer role on Sean Combs: The Reckoning, a Netflix documentary that examined the life and controversies surrounding another influential figure in hip hop.
