Netflix is giving the Bellarie family one last chapter.
The streamer has officially renewed Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black for a third and final season, following the highly anticipated March 19 premiere of Season 2, Part 2.
The renewal comes just ahead of the series’ explosive continuation, which promises even more power moves, betrayal, and boardroom drama from the luxe world of the Bellarie beauty empire.
Since its debut, Beauty in Black has followed the rags-to-riches rise of Kimmie, a former dancer from Chicago’s club scene who claws her way into the C-suite as the new COO of her husband Horace Bellarie’s haircare dynasty. And if Season 2, Part 1 was any indication, her promotion is shaking up everybody.
“Part 2 is going to be such a wild ride — this roller coaster that never ends,” says star Crystle Stewart, who plays the icy and ambitious Mallory, told Netflix. “You’re going to see more of Mallory and Kimmie coming head to head, which I think people are waiting for.”
By the end of Part 1, Kimmie (played by Taylor Polidore Williams) has officially stepped into her new role, but not everyone’s thrilled. In fact, nearly every branch of the Bellarie family tree wants her gone.
Horace’s grown sons, Roy and Charles, aren’t on board with calling their new stepmom “boss.” His ex-wife, Olivia (Debbi Morgan), and shady brother Norman (Richard Lawson) both have plans of their own. Even Jules (Charles Malik Whitfield), the family’s head of security and Kimmie’s old boss, isn’t safe from her calculated power plays.
But Williams is enjoying the ride.
While fans gear up for more family tension and corporate warfare in Part 2 this March, Netflix has confirmed that the story will officially wrap with Season 3, giving Tyler Perry a full trilogy to complete the Bellarie saga.
Season 2, Part 2 premieres March 19. Season 3 is set to debut in early 2026.
