NBC’s hit workplace comedy St. Denis Medical is scrubbing back in this fall, and from the looks of the trailer, things at the hospital are just as chaotic (and hilarious) as ever.
Season 2 premieres Monday, November 3, with back-to-back episodes at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, followed by next-day streaming on Peacock. And yes, an actual horse is wandering the halls this time.
When we last left the well-intentioned but perpetually frazzled hospital administrator Joyce (Wendi McLendon-Covey), she had just secured a major donation and decided to use it to create a birthing center and expand family care at St. Denis.
Now, as the new trailer reveals, Joyce is back with even bigger plans, and a renewed determination to usher in what she proudly calls “St. Denis 2.0.”
“We are on our way to St. Denis 2.0,” Joyce declares, as the trailer cuts to cheerful staffers, an unbothered therapy horse, and complete pandemonium breaking out across the hospital.
Sure, surgeon Bruce (Josh Lawson) is using ChatGPT to deliver “yo mama” jokes, Matt (Mekki Leeper) is discovering unusual ways to outwit him, and a gaggle of geese has taken over the parking lot, but in this hospital, that’s business as usual.
This season brings an exciting lineup of guest stars, including Bob’s Burgers and 30 Rock alum Kristen Schaal, who joins as Ashley, a sci-fi enthusiast who experiences a surprising “meet-cute” with one of St. Denis’ more eccentric staffers.
Reality TV favorite Ariana Madix (Love Island USA) will also appear as Dr. Emerson, while Love Island alum Jeremiah Brown checks in as Jeff, a patient’s quirky roommate.
Returning cast members David Alan Grier, Allison Tolman, Kahyun Kim, and Kaliko Kauahi are all back, along with recurring appearances from Lauren Lapkus, Tim Baltz, Lauren Weedman, and Frankie Quiñones.
St. Denis Medical returns Monday, November 3 on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock.
