Love, ambition, and a little healthy competition take center stage in Prime Video’s new romantic comedy Relationship Goals, starring Kelly Rowland and Clifford “Method Man” Smith.
The film, based on Michael Todd’s New York Times bestselling book, is a witty and heartwarming look at what happens when old flames spark amid career goals and second chances.
Rowland stars as Leah Caldwell, a brilliant TV producer on the cusp of making history as the first woman to run New York’s top morning show. But just as she’s about to break the glass ceiling, her ex-boyfriend Jarrett Roy (Smith) resurfaces, vying for the same position.
Jarrett claims he’s a changed man, transformed by the wisdom of Todd’s bestselling book Relationship Goals, and determined to prove it. The two soon find themselves navigating professional rivalry, personal growth, and lingering attraction, all while trying not to repeat the mistakes of the past.
As Leah’s circle of friends begin reading the same book, each of them finds their own relationships tested and redefined.
Relationship Goals also stars Robin Thede (A Black Lady Sketch Show), Annie Gonzalez (Flamin’ Hot), Dennis Haysbert, and Matt Walsh.
Directed by Linda Mendoza (Survival of the Thickest, Harlem), the film is produced by DeVon Franklin (Flamin’ Hot, Breakthrough) and executive produced by Bart Lipton, Michael Todd, and Kelly Rowland herself.
Adapted from Pastor Todd’s viral sermon series and book Relationship Goals: How to Win at Dating, Marriage, and Sex, the film translates his lessons on faith, love, and intentional connection into a modern rom-com for today’s world.
Relationship Goals premieres February 4, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video.
