Hulu’s hit legal drama Reasonable Doubt is back for its third season. After spending Season 2 defending her best friend from a life sentence while navigating the fallout of a deadly affair, powerhouse attorney Jax Stewart (played by Emayatzy Corinealdi) finally seems to have earned a little peace in her life, though she can’t help but find it a bit boring.
Enter Season 3, where a new client brings chaos, celebrity drama, and high-profile danger right back into her world.
Season 3 introduces Kyle Bary in the role of Ozzie, a former child star turned household name thanks to a long-running sitcom. Now an adult actor vying for a coveted role in a Hollywood franchise, Ozzie comes to Jax with what seems like a career-defining dilemma, but the situation spirals into a legal and personal mess that only Jax can untangle.

Many know Bary from Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia, where he played Young Zion. He’s also appeared in HBO Max’s Rap Sh!t (Season 2), Fox’s Our Kind of People, and the Lena Waithe-scripted Netflix film Beauty.
Morris Chestnut reprises his role as Corey Cash, the sharp but media-savvy defense attorney who became a scene-stealer in Season 2. Joseph Sikora will appear in season 3 as a series regular, whose character is a coworker of Jax at her law firm. Lori Harvey makes her acting debut as Chelsea, described as an unpredictable force from Jax’s past whose reemergence brings new complications.
At its core, Season 3 asks: what happens when Jax’s personal peace collides with her professional instincts? Bored by her new routine, she takes on Ozzie’s case, only to discover that his life off-screen has as much drama and danger as any Hollywood film.
At the same time, her career stability is shaken by a charismatic associate within her own firm, putting her reputation and hard-earned success at risk.
