Cue the theme song, or at least hum it in your head, because The Office universe is officially expanding. Peacock just dropped the title and release month for the highly anticipated spinoff: The Paper is set to premiere this September.
While there’s no specific day locked in just yet, the streaming platform confirmed that The Paper will arrive in early fall and dropped a first-look image to hold fans over.
The photo features series leads Domhnall Gleeson (The Patient) and Sabrina Impacciatore (The White Lotus), plus a very familiar face—Oscar Nuñez, reprising his role as the ever-sarcastic Oscar Martinez. But instead of crunching numbers at Dunder Mifflin, Oscar’s now part of a whole new office ecosystem.
This time around, the documentary crew that followed the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin is on a fresh mission: capturing the chaos and charm of The Truth Teller, a historic newspaper in Toledo, trying to make a modern comeback. Expect plenty of workplace dysfunction, dry humor, and quirky personalities trying to keep journalism alive.
One of the big standouts in the cast? Melvin Gregg (Snowfall) is stepping into the spotlight in a major way. Details on his character are still under wraps, but let’s be real—if his past roles are any indication, we’re in for a scene-stealer.
