Jamie Foxx is continuing his strong partnership with Fox Entertainment, securing a first-look deal with Fox Entertainment Studios. The Oscar-winning actor, musician, and producer will develop and produce scripted and unscripted programming for the studio through his production banner, Foxxhole Productions.
Foxx’s deal extends a long-standing relationship with Fox, where he has hosted and executive produced the hit game show Beat Shazam alongside his daughter Corinne Foxx and executive produced the drama series Alert: Missing Persons Unit, which is heading into its third season.
Under this new agreement, Foxx will serve as an executive producer and creative originator for scripted series spanning comedy, drama, and animation. Fox Entertainment Studios will have first-look rights on all scripted projects developed by Foxxhole Productions.
Additionally, Foxx’s deal includes exclusive rights for unscripted projects through Fox Alternative Entertainment, which specializes in reality television and game shows.
Foxx, who recently starred alongside Cameron Diaz in Netflix’s Back In Action, has built a diverse entertainment portfolio that spans film, television, music, and production.
