Ice Cube and Anthony Mackie Among the Star-Studded Cameos in Apple TV+’s New Comedy ‘The Studio’ [Trailer]

Seth Rogen leads The Studio, a sharp new Hollywood satire premiering March 26 on Apple TV+. Get ready for chaos, comedy, and cameos!
The Studio

Apple TV+ and Lionsgate are bringing the chaos of Hollywood to the small screen with The Studio, a new half-hour comedy about the high-stakes, often absurd world of movie executives. Set to premiere on March 26, the 10-episode series features an all-star cast led by Seth Rogen.

The Studio follows Matt Remick (Rogen), the newly appointed head of the struggling Continental Studios. As he battles corporate pressure, egotistical artists, and his own self-doubt, his dream of preserving the magic of cinema begins to feel more like a nightmare. Each decision—whether at a casting call, marketing meeting, or awards show—could mean industry acclaim or a catastrophic flop.

Anthony Mackie

Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders, and guest star Bryan Cranston join Rogen in this satirical take on the film industry. The series also features Dewayne Perkins in a recurring role.

What’s a move about Hollywood without movie stars? The series is full of cameos including Ice Cube, Anthony Mackie, Ziwe, Zoë Kravitz and a slew of other A-list actors.

Behind every blockbuster is a boardroom filled with executives trying to keep the industry afloat—sometimes successfully, often disastrously. The Studio will pull back the curtain on the behind-the-scenes madness, and with a cast this stacked, it’s shaping up to be one of the year’s most anticipated comedies.

Apple TV+ will premiere the first two episodes of The Studio on March 26, with new episodes dropping every Wednesday through May 21.
