Cory Hardrict, Meagan Good Face Marital Struggles In Tyler Perry's 'Divorce In The Black' Trailer

Tyler Perry has returned with another film slated to premiere this summer.

Tyler Perry Studios has dropped the trailer for the upcoming drama, Divorce in the Black, which will be available on Prime Video on July 11.

The film tells the story of Ava, portrayed by Meagan Good, a young bank professional whose life is turned upside down when her husband Dallas, played by Cory Hardrict, abruptly leaves their marriage. Determined to salvage what she can, Ava’s world is further rocked by revelations of Dallas' past actions, which not only destroyed their union but also derailed her path to true love.

Divorce in the Black also stars Joseph Lee Anderson, Taylor Polidore, Shannon Wallace, Richard Lawson, and Debbi Morgan.

Fans of Perry will appreciate the story as it features resilience in the face of adversity, the healing power of love and the importance of closure. Divorce in the Black is not just a story of a failed marriage but a testament to the unyielding human spirit's ability to overcome heartbreak and discover true happiness.

This is Perry's second film as part of his four-movie deal with Amazon, following the announcement of his first film under this partnership, Black, White & Blue.
