[Event] The Quintessential Gentleman Makes a Toast to the Culture During ABFF

The Quintessential Gentleman celebrates the release of its Culture Issue with a star-studded event held at the Soho Beach House in Miami during the American Black Film Festival.

On June 16th, culture enthusiasts gathered for a private VIP reception featuring Civil Rights Attorney Ben Crump and Film Director Nadia Hallgren to discuss their documentary Civil and his fight for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for Black people.

The Quintessential Gentleman founder, Eric K. Thomas, introduced the panelists with a warm welcome addressing the importance of uplifting key figures whose advocacy honors our past and enhances our future.

"Tonight, we are celebrating the release of our Culture issue featuring Charlamagne The God. Lenard is a voice for our culture, and tonight’s guest, Ben Crump, is fighting for our culture," Eric shares.

Following the panel conversation, which was moderated by Karen Sanchez, attendees enjoyed the vibe on the rooftop with sounds curated by BMajr. The event included the stars of Bel-Air, Adrian Holmes, Casandra Freeman, Akira Akbar, Jordan Jones and Jimmy Akingbola. Also in attendance were Johnson cast members Deji LaRay, Thomas Q. Jones, Philip Smithey, influencer Jessie Woo, journalist Danielle Young, MLS player Ricky Lopez-Espin, Grand Crew's Carl Tart and others.
