Airbnb is Giving You the Chance to Live Anywhere in the World

Airbnb recently announced the launch of its "Live Anywhere on Airbnb" program, an opportunity for 12 individuals to live exclusively in Airbnb listings, for free, for approximately one year, July 2021 - July 2022.

In addition to taking care of the bill for lodging, Airbnb will also provide an allowance for transportation for the duration of the program. Airbnb is looking for a diverse set of individuals to participate, which includes young families, remote workers, creatives, empty nesters, and more.

Through this program, participants will provide real-world insights on features, services, and the experience of living nomadically, that could help shape the future of long-term living on Airbnb, including:

  • Product changes and resources that could help improve the long-term living experience

  • Ideal types of accommodations for solo travelers or groups like families

  • Connections to local community members and businesses

  • Better understanding of financial benefits of Hosting while traveling

"The experience of living on Airbnb has been truly transformational for us,” said Debbie Campbell, a longtime Airbnb guest. “Live Anywhere on Airbnb will give even more people the opportunity to see the world through a whole new lens just as we have. We’re excited to see more people living and working from wherever they choose.”

For an opportunity to participate in the "Live Anywhere on Airbnb" program, participants must be 18 years of age or older. They can also bring up to three companions with them to their Airbnb listing.

Applications are can now be submitted at www.airbnb.com/liveanywhere.
