The Quintessential Gentleman is looking for a creative and motivated freelance writer to create engaging content for our publication. The freelance writer's responsibilities include researching topics, interviewing relevant individuals, creating content, and editing.

 

The Quintessential Gentleman is a media platform that inspires conscious growth, motivates professional development, and highlights the achievements of Black and Brown men who contribute to the advancements of our culture. The Quintessential Gentleman was created as an outlet for these men to have a voice and share their own narratives based on personal experiences and perspectives through enterprise, lifestyle, and the arts.

 

To be successful as a staff writer, you must be able to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure. A great staff writer is able to perform accurate research and write compelling copy.

 

Freelance Writer Responsibilities:

• Conducting research on assigned topics.

• Interviewing individuals relevant to the article.

• Writing content according to a brief.

• Attending virtual meetings to delegate new tasks.

• Editing your own writing.

• Keeping abreast of current events, pop culture and topics interesting to Black men.

• Write two articles per week, 500-750 words

• Come up with interesting topics to produce content

 

Freelance Writer Requirements:

• A portfolio of articles written.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Editing skills.

• The ability to make corrections based on notes from editors.
