Pharaoh Conclave (PCX) brought together CEO’s, entrepreneurs and sport industry influencers alike to Atlanta’s Meiko’s Tapas Bar and Lounge. The honorable hosts of the event were New England Patriot’s Adalius Thomas and Growing Up Hip Hop’s Andre King. The mixer centered around companies that bring together elements of sports and fashion. Among the featured brands were Core, PRSVR and Textures of the Soul.
Video games, cigars and a DJ kept guests entertained. The intimate atmosphere allowed attendees to meet new people, collaborate and share new ideas. Eric Thomas of PCX described the significance of the e-sports industry. “We want to make sure our young people know how to get in this industry because technology is technology is technology,” Thomas said. “So all the time they spend in their rooms playing video games, it can translate to dollars in the corporate world.”
The event helped benefit Playworks Georgia which is a nonprofit organization that serves students in low-income schools teaching them valuable skills such as teamwork and cooperation.
