This past weekend health and fitness expert Kevin Dwayne shared his top 10 tips for getting and maintaining a summer body throughout the year. We learned that while most of us only focus on the physical aspect of fitness, it is so much more to it. Mental health plays a major role when deciding to become more physically responsible.
Check out the 10 tips below. Also, watch Kevin's interview where he does a deep dive into each tip.
1. Make a commitment to yourself. (Know your why)
2. Change what you eat. Eat foods that are more nutrient-rich, fresh, healthy.
3. Exercise/Train/Workout at least 4-5 times a week. Stay Active
4. Stay hydrated with water daily.
5. Limit the amount of sugar, alcohol, fast/processed foods from your daily habits.
6. Get adequate sleep
7. Plan/Prepare your meals in advance as much as possible
8. Get help (Trainer, Coach, Accountability Partner)
9. Make it a habit. One day at a time
10. Understand the bigger picture. Not for likes, but for your life!
