Katt Williams just added a new honor to his already impressive list of achievements—his own street! The comedian and actor was recently celebrated with “Katt Williams Way” in his hometown of Cincinnati.

On Saturday, the city unveiled a new honorary street sign in the Avondale neighborhood, where Katt grew up. The sign, placed at the intersection of Reading Road and Maple Avenue, now proudly honors Williams’ legacy in entertainment. While the official name of the street stays as Reading Road, from now on it’ll also be known as “Katt Williams Way.”

Katt was on hand for the ceremony and got the chance to speak to the crowd.

“I’ve been in the business since 1995. This is the thing that means the most to me. Even if it’s honorary, I appreciate ‘Katt Williams Way,’” he said, showing some love to his hometown for the recognition.

Fellow comedians Mo’Nique and Mark Curry were also there to support Katt, along with Red Grant. Fans lined the streets to show their appreciation. The moment was about more than just a street sign—it was a celebration of Katt’s incredible career.

The Cincinnati-born comedian, who now lives in Calabasas, has made his mark on both the comedy world and Hollywood. He’s starred in films like Friday After Next, Scary Movie V, and Norbit, and his latest comedy special, Katt Williams: Woke Foke, became one of the most-watched Netflix specials of 2024.

The street name is a lasting tribute to Katt Williams’ journey, and for his fans, it’s a reminder that no matter how big he gets, he’ll always be connected to where it all started.
