It looks like Abbott Elementary is filming with the Philadelphia Eagles after creator Quinta Brunson hinted that our favorite Philadelphia school will acknowledge their Super Bowl win.
Last week during the SAG Awards, Brunson was asked if she would celebrate Philadelphia’s win in the show. ABC renewed the series for a fifth season in January, and Brunson made it clear that the team’s victory would not go unnoticed.
“There’s no way we’re not incorporating it in Season 5,” she confirmed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

This week, Brunson and the Abbott Elementary cast and crew traveled to Philadelphia for a special three-day shoot. While the series is set in the City of Brotherly Love, most of its production takes place in Los Angeles. However, this allows the team to film on location and even feature local children in the process.
Brunson posted a photo of the 2025 Lombardi Trophy on her Instagram Story, along with another picture where the trophy was hiding her face while she stood next to Eagles offensive tackle Jordan Mailata. Mailata later reposted the photo on his own Instagram Story.
We can’t wait to see who else is included in the Abbott Elementary x Philadelphia Eagles link up.
