Love is soaring high for NBA star Kyle Kuzma and supermodel Winnie Harlow. The Milwaukee Bucks forward proposed to his longtime girlfriend with a beautiful diamond ring, and of course, she said yes.
Kuzma set the bar high with a proposal aboard a private jet on February 13, as the couple flew out to Turks and Caicos for a Valentine’s Day getaway. Earlier today, Harlow shared glimpses of the romantic scene with her 10 million Instagram followers.
The couple’s love story began in 2019 when Kuzma slid into Harlow’s DMs—not once, but twice—before finally catching her attention during the pandemic. Since then, their bond has only grown stronger, leading to an engagement five years later.
Kuzma proposed with an exquisite custom-designed 8.5-carat engagement ring, featuring an elegant oval-cut diamond flanked by two baguette stones. He collaborated with a jeweler to design the perfect ring that reflected Harlow’s style.
“I never really asked her what type of ring she liked or anything,” Kuzma told Vogue. “I just wanted to draw a picture of what I felt resembled her—something that was elegant, but very timeless and simplistic at the same time.”
