Peacock has released the trailer for an explosive new documentary, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, which looks into the tumultuous life of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The 90-minute feature, set to premiere on January 14, provides a behind-the-scenes look at Combs’ rise to fame and the darker accusations that have surfaced against him.

The documentary features candid interviews with former members of Combs’ inner circle, including his bodyguard, a former intern, a makeup artist, and producer Al B. Sure!.

Honestly, I didn’t want to be around him unless there were cameras,” said Sara Stokes, a winner from Combs’ reality competition series Making the Band, in the trailer.

One of the most chilling revelations comes from an anonymous insider who recounts witnessing unsettling events.

“I’ve been with Sean for quite a while and I’ve captured a lot of moments. Any time a studio or any room is red, he’s making love and sex. Some of the ones who went in the room, for sure they were underage,” the insider alleges in the trailer.

According to Peacock, Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy seeks to provide “crucial insight into the forces that shaped [Combs] and may have made him a monster.” The documentary interweaves new footage of Combs’ lavish parties, intimate studio sessions, and personal life with testimony from those who were closest to him during pivotal moments of his career.

Accusations of rape, child sexual abuse, and other forms of sexual misconduct from incidents spanning more than three decades have painted a damning picture of the once-revered music icon.

In 2024, following a raid by the Department of Homeland Security, Combs was arrested and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering after a grand jury indictment. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is currently incarcerated in Brooklyn, awaiting a criminal trial scheduled for May.
