Former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas is officially off the market!
The skilled three-pointer shooter and sometimes controversial player has married YouTube star and model Melli Monaco.
Arenas shared the news on Instagram with a series of wedding photos featuring the couple.
“I finally did it y’all. Melli Monaco is officially Mrs. Arenas,” he captioned the post.
Arenas, 43, and Monaco, 34, first crossed paths during one of Monaco’s popular livestreams in 2023. Their connection was instant, quickly forming into a relationship.
Their romance reached a high point last August when Arenas proposed to Monaco atop the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. Although Arenas admitted in previous interviews that he found the proposal nerve-wracking, Monaco’s enthusiastic “yes” made it all worthwhile.
Fast forward a few weeks, Monaco decided to return the gesture. While out at a nightclub with friends, bottle service staff approached the couple with a sign that read, “Men Wear Engagement Rings Too.” Arenas, initially puzzled, quickly realized what was happening when he saw Monaco holding an engagement ring.
Overwhelmed with excitement, Arenas gladly accepted the ring.
