A second bombing attack in less than a week has injured 33 people.
According to Daily Mail, the attack transpired during a boxing match in a central Philippines province, the government said on Thursday.
Just outside a shopping mall in Leyte province, an 81-millimetre mortar round was detonated remotely by a cellphone. However, police have said there have been no arrests made and no group has claimed responsibility, either.
The bombing follows a Christmas Eve grenade explosion just outside a Catholic church in the southern island of Mindanao that wounded 16 people.
