Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan reunite for "Sinners," a horror thriller set in the 1930s Jim Crow South, premiering March 7, 2025.

We’ve been hearing rumors about the mystery film involving Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan for months. But now, it’s here.

Coogler and Jordan are teaming up once again for their fifth joint project, the horror thriller Sinners.

Scheduled for release on March 7, 2025, the film is already generating buzz for its original narrative and stark visual aesthetics.

Set against the haunting backdrop of the 1930s Jim Crow South, Sinners is not just a step back into a chilling era but an interesting leap into the supernatural. The film follows twin brothers, both played by Jordan, who return to their hometown seeking a fresh start, only to find themselves trapped by ancient evils.

This project marks Coogler’s first original screenplay since the critically acclaimed Fruitvale Station. The star-studded cast includes Delroy Lindo, Jack O’Connell and Hailee Steinfeld, alongside Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller, Li Jun Li, Lola Kirke, Yao, Miles Caton and Peter Dreimanis.
